Let’s talk numbers

In 1917, prior to the revolution, just 2 or 3 per cent of Russians were actually Communists. Even so, more than 30 million Russians were eventually murdered and a large part of the globe ended up directly controlled or influenced by the Soviets. Similarly, in 1924, when Hitler was sentenced to five years in prison for leading the ‘Beer Hall Putsch’, the number of Germans who were actually Nazis was probably fewer than 3 per cent. Even so, the Nazis eventually seized control of the German state, triggering a devastating world war in which many millions were killed and injured. Question: what percentage of muslims are Islamist?
